KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is recuperating gradually.
The health condition of Prime Minister who underwent a second kidney transplant on Wednesday is improving said doctors. He has started speaking now.
He was fed on black tea this morning, a doctor involved in the kidney transplant surgery informed.
“His condition is stable, all the procedures including injection and feeding to be carried post the operation are taking place,” said Dr Prem Khadga, Executive Director at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
Dr Khadga added that Doctors Oli’s health condition is stable and his newly transplanted kidney has started functioning.
He has passed 8 to 10 liters of urine as of Thursday morning following the kidney transplant surgery.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel reached the hospital to take stock of Oli’s health this morning.
“Prime Minister’s health condition is improving gradually. He took black tea,” DPM Pokharel quoted doctors as saying.
