NEW DELHI: Indian intelligence agency sources have said at least two ISIS-trained terrorists have entered India through Nepal.

A high alert has been issued in several districts such as Gorakhpur, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, and Kushinagar – close to the border.

Citing intelligence reports, Indian media said that the terrorists are believed to be in Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Basti IG range Ashutosh Kumar confirmed the report saying that they have received information that two terrorists have entered UP.

Identified as Khwaja Moinuddin and Abdul Samad, the two terrorists were last seen in West Bengal’s Siliguri, Indian media reports have claimed.
