KATHMANDU: Namrata Shrestha was crowned Miss Nepal 2020 as she beat 20 contestants in the grand finale of the beauty pageant held on Saturday evening.
Miss Nepal World 2019 Anushka Shrestha handed over the coveted crown to Namrata.
Likewise, Supriya Shrestha was announced Miss Nepal Earth, Sadhya Sharma was declared Miss Nepal International, and Simal Kanaujiya as Miss Nepal Supranational.
Who is the new Miss Nepal 2020 Namrata Shrestha?
Miss Nepal 2020 Shrestha is a 23-year-old sociology student. A kindergarten teacher by profession, she was born and brought up in Kathmandu,
“I am a person driven by passion having an attitude of gratitude and is an avid learner. I am an ordinary girl with an extraordinary dream,” she describes herself in her introductory video.
Shrestha said that she ventured into the journey of leaving a legacy behind me, touching people’s lives, and leaving a positive impact wherever she goes, whoever she meets, and whatever works she does.
