Gulmi tractor mishap claims 1, hurts 2



GULMI: A person died and two others sustained  critical injuries when a tractor somersaulted in Gulmi district Monday morning.

According to Inspector Raj Kumar Rawal, an officer at District Police Office, Gulmi, a tractor, Lu 4 Ta 2833, met with an accident at Balithum while heading towards Majuwa from Balithum.

Inspector Rawal informed that Dhan Bahadur Majhi, 16, who was travelling in the tractor, died ater being pressed by the tractor wheel.

The tractor fell some 20 meters down from the road.

Lal Bahadur Budha Magar, 15, another fellow passenger in the tractor and driver Resham Tamrakar, 30, are injured in the accident.

The police informed that injured are undergoing treatment at Majuwa-based Shuva Sarathi Medical Hall.
