Nepal confirms 381 new cases, coronavirus tally hits 21,390

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday said that the country’s coronavirus tally has reached 21,390 after 381 people tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing today afternoon, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam the cases were confirmed in 6,359 tests at laboratories across the country.

A total of 15, 156 have recovered across the country so far after 130 discharged from hospital and isolation centers in the past 24 hours, he shared.

At present, 6,174 people are in isolation and 9, 925 are in quarantines.

Nepal’s death toll stands at 60 after a new death reported, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said.
