COVID-19 tally reaches 140 in Kathmandu Valley

30 more cases added to the tally on Sunday



KATHMANDU: With 30 new cases on Sunday, the coronavirus cases in the Kathmandu Valley has reached 140 so far.

According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu Valley has reported 30 new cases taking the total COVID-19 case tally to 140.

The Ministry of Health and Population said reports of 27 people in Kathmandu, 2 in Lalitpur and 1 in Bhaktapur came out positive on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the country reported as many as 293 coronavirus new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to Spokesperson Dr. Gautam, the number of COVID-19 case in the country has reached 15,784 till Sunday out of which 41.5% or 6,547 persons have returned home after recovery.

As many as 9,203 people are receiving care in various isolation centers in the country.
