PM Oli holds telephone conversation with Bahrain PM



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli on Saturday held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Bahrain Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and took stock of the condition of Nepalis there.

“As part of my conversation with the heads of government of countries having a large number of Nepali migrant workers in the context of COVID-19, I today held a telephone conversation with HRH the Prime Minister of Bahrain,” PM Oli said in a tweet.

While expressing concern over the safety of Nepalis in Bahrain during this difficult period, PM Oli said he thanked the government of Bahrain for the cooperation extended to them.

I will continue conversations with other heads of government, added PM Oli.

A total of 12 Nepalis have been infected with COVID-19 in Bahrain.
