COVID-19 claims 1, 120 in last 24 hours in France



KATHMANDU: The death toll in France from coronavirus has reached 1,120 in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 6, 507.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, as many as 64,338 people have been infected after 5, 233 new cases were reported in a single day.

The condition of 6, 662 among those infected is critical. Meanwhile, 14, 800 have recovered after treatment.

Coronavirus which broke out in Wuhan City of China last December has spread to 205 countries, claiming 58, 871 and infecting 1,098,848 people globally as of Saturday morning.
