NEW DELHI: Following the coronavirus scare, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that as a precaution he will not participate in any ‘Holi Milan’ program.

“Experts across the world have advised reducing mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan program,” Modi tweeted.

His remarks came a day after over 21 Italian tourists were brought from Jaipur to ITBP Hospital in Manesar and also six people from Agra were shifted to the national capital.
