KATHMANDU: Four different bills have been tabled in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

Finance Minister Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada tabled the ‘Public Debt Management Bill-2076’, the ‘Bill related to Banking and Financial Institutions (First Amendment)-2076’, the ‘Bill related to Nepal Rastra Bank (Third Amendment)-2076’ and the ‘Bill related to Securities (First Amendment)-2076’.

Report of two parliamentary committees presented

Meanwhile, reports of parliamentary committees have also been presented in the meeting.  Chairperson of Women and Social Development Committee, Nirudevi Pal, presented the Committee’s report on Senior Citizen (First Amendment) Bill-2076 while Chairperson of  Education and Health Committee, Jaypuri Gharti, presented the Committee’s report on Uranium Bill-2076 in the meeting.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the meeting about the name of the additional members of the Education and Health Committee. Lawmakers Upendra Prasad Yadav and Surendra Prasad Yadav have been included in the committee.

Similarly, the Public Account Committee has got one more member—Mohammad Istiyak Rai.
