Japanese Ambassador meets Speaker Sapkota



KATHMANDU: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masamichi Saigo met Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Sapkota at the latter’s office in Singha Darbar of Kathmandu today.

Ambassador Saigo discussed a wide range of issues such as socio-economic, technology, good governance, among others with Speaker Sapkota while expressing Japan’s support in these areas.

On the occasion, he congratulated Speaker Sapkota for his election on the post, wishing for the success of his tenure. He also assured support in Nepal’s technological advancements.

They also exchanged views on all aspects concerning the bilateral relations and mutual interests between the two countries.

Speaker Sapkota thanked the Japan Government for its support to Nepal’s development endeavors, according to the Speaker’s secretariat.

It should be noted that Ambassadors of China and India have already met with Speaker Sapkota.
