MCC has been exaggerated: Foreign Affairs Minister Gyawali

GULMI: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali today said whatever things have come out about the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) have come in an exaggerated and sponsored manner.

Stating that the government has embraced it keeping in the center the interest of the country and its people’s, Minister Gyawali urged one and all to be cautious while making statements on the issue as they would sour the relations with the US, which is a friendly country of Nepal.

Speaking at a program in Tamghas of Gulmi, he said that the government was moving ahead to protect the national interest.

He sniffed sarcasm over some people who are hell-bent on spearheading a campaign against MCC without even knowing its full form.

Minister Gyawali termed it as a useless and unfruitful debate on MCC.
