Hong Kong bans NAC for 15 days for the fourth time

KATHMANDU: Hong Kong has banned flights of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) from Kathmandu for the fourth time.

The suspension was enforced for 15 days after six passengers reaching Hong Kong through the national flag carrier tested coronavirus positive.

Earlier, after being banned from flying to Hong Kong three times, Nepal Airlines had decided to accept only the report of Nepal’s government lab on the flight to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong had banned flights for the first time from October 4 to October 17, the second time from October 20 to November 3, and the third time from November 12 to 25.
