Dahal-Nepal faction organizing gathering at Thapathali today



KATHMANDU: With the intra-party dispute of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) taking a new height, Dahal-Nepal faction is organizing a gathering of youths and students of their faction.

According to a leader close to Dahal-Nepal faction, the gathering is taking place at Thapathali Campus in the Kathmandu Valley today.

Standing Committee Member and Bagmati Committee In-charge Asta Laxmi Shakya, Standing Committee member Pampha Bhusal and Central Committee member Hari Parajuli are addressing the gathering, said Deepak Budhathoki, a leader of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU).

“The conclave is being organized to update the students on the latest political development in the party,” said Budhathoki said, adding, “Incumbent and former leaders of ANNFSU and Youth Association Nepal (YAN) will participate in the conclave.”

Both the factions have intensified gatherings of their leaders and cadres to circulate their views with the intra-party dispute touching a new height.
