Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijártó arriving Nepal today

KATHMANDU: Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Péter Szijártó is coming to Kathmandu leading a 12-member delegation today.

The Hungarian Minister will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today evening via a special aircraft from Thailand.

Szijártó is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and Ministry of Industry Lekh Raj Bhatta.

His visit has been seen with curiosity at a time when Hungary is being isolated from other European countries for its inclination towards China.

The country had also made a deal to purchase vaccine against COVID-19, which was not even tested, from China.
