BAITADI: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta has said that employment opportunities will be increased in the country.

Inaugurating the phosphorite explorative drilling at Dogadakedar rural municipality on Saturday, he said Nepal has many mines and minerals which would be explored for generating employment opportunities.

“Henceforth, every sector should be linked with employment,” he said.

The Department of Mines and Geology is preparing to excavate dolomite after discovering a dolomite rock in Basaura in ward no. 7 of the municipality.

A team led by geologists Kumar Khadka and Sujan Devkota are currently in Dogedakedar.

If Phosphorous is found to be present in the tested area, then it would bring economic prosperity to our rural municipality, said its chair Chakra Karki.
