14 hospitals in Valley assigned for swab collection

KATHMANDU: A total of 14 hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley have been assigned to collect swabs samples of patients suspected of coronavirus infection.

Patan Hospital, Civil Hospital, TU Teaching Hospital, Teku Hospital, Birendra Hospital, Star Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Bhaktapur Hospital, KMC Hospital, Bir Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital, Maternity Home, HAMS Hospital and Nepal Korea Friendship Hospital have been assigned to collect swabs, according to Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari.

He said that the suspected patients and those who came in contact with them could go to these hospitals for swab tests.

Apart from this, swabs will also be collected at all the hospitals designated by the government, COVID Clinic Hospital and COVID Hospital of Level 1, 2 and 3.
