Minister Bhattarai assures rehabilitation to Taplejung fire victims



TAPLEJUNG: Minister for Tourism Yogesh Bhattarai has assured of providing rehabilitation to the fire victims of Taplejung fire soon.

He expressed his grief over the incident while assuring the victims of providing compensation to the victims, and that the government was with them.

Minister Bhattarai inspected the area on Sunday morning and said that the Federal Governments, State and local levels are with the fire victims, and assistances will be provided.

As many as 29 families were displaced and 10 houses were burnt down to ashes in the Taplejung blaze on Friday.

Property worth more than Rs 70 million were destroyed in the fire.
