COVID-19 tally crosses 20,000-mark in Province 1

BIRTANAGAR: The coronavirus tally in Province 1 has crossed the 20,000-mark on Tuesday.

The tally hit 20,154 with the confirmation of 363 new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, there are 156 new cases in Morang, 120 in Sunsari, 60 in Jhapa, eight in Udayapur, two each in Dhankuta and Ilam, one in Panchthar, Bhojpur, and Tehrathum, and 12 outside Province 1.

Meanwhile, 160 got discharged from hospital and isolation centers, taking total recoveries to 11,736.
