China denies encroachment on Nepali territory

KATHMANDU: China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin has dismissed media reports about China encroaching Nepal’s territory as “unfounded rumor”.

Beijing says reports that China encroached on the Nepali land in Nepal’s Humla district are not true.

Wenbin termed the reports as “totally fake and rumors” at a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday.

He suggested the writers verified a source before writing such reports.

It should be recalled that a field report prepared by a Nepali Congress lawmaker had claimed that China has encroached on Nepali territory in Humla district.
