Two cops deployed at Sangha checkpoint test COVID-19 positive



KAVRE: Two policemen deployed at Sangha checkpoint have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Senior Health Administrator and Head of Kavre Health Office, Dr. Narendra Kumar Jha, said that two police officers’ swab samples were collected after showing symptoms similar to the pandemic.

Reports of both came positive for the coronavirus, he added.

Kaverepalanchowk reported eight new cases on Thursday.

With the new cases, the coronavirus tally in the district has reached 294. Out of them, 111 have been discharged so far.
