Health Minister calls for collaboration among three-tier govt to curb COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal has stressed the need for effective collaboration among the local, state and federal level governments to control and prevent the COVID-19.

Minister Dhakal has reiterated effective coordination among the three-tier governments to streamline the works relating to control of the deadly infection and treatment of the infected ones.

He also urged one and all to observe precaution against the infection, as there was no cure or vaccine against this flu-like infection yet.

He also emphasized the need for launching awareness about the COVID-19 among the people to stem its spread in the community level.

Minister Dhakal also pledged support from the federal government to state government and local governments while reaffirming that hazard allowances and insurance would be ensured to all the health workers working in forefront till the COVID-19 risks is there.
