Siblings die in electric trap, father injured



DANG: The electric trap set for the boar has taken lives siblings Bir Bahadur Rawat, 14, and Tet Bahadur Rawat, 10, in Ghorahi-1, Balajure Dang on Monday morning.

According to District Police Office Dang, the electric trap was set up in the cornfield on Sunday evening but the children who went there to bring corn got electrocuted.

Inspector Rajan Kumar Gautam said that the children who got electrocuted died at the spot whereas the father, Dil Bahadur Rawat 37, who went in search of them, got injured in the incident.

The injured father is undergoing treatment in the Dang-based Rapti Academy of Health Sciences.
