Youth dies at Darchula Hospital, COVID-19 suspected



DARCHULA: A youth undergoing treatment at Darchula District Hospital died on Monday morning.

According to the hospital’s Information Officer Dambar Dutt Bhatt, the 28-year-old youth from Byas Rural Municipality had reached the hospital on Sunday after having high fever and difficulty in breathing.

He went home after doctors at the hospital referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment. But, he was brought to the hospital the same night after his health condition worsened.

His swab sample has been collected and sent to Dadeldhura Hospital for the COVID-19 test.
