Indefinite prohibitory order in Parsa as COVID-19 cases climb to 580



KATHMANDU: District Administration Office (DAO), Parsa has clamped an indefinite prohibitory order effective from today after the number of deaths and infection cases spiked in the district of late.

The prohibitory order which was imposed in Birgunj Metropolitan City since July 25 now has been extended throughout the district for an indefinite period effective from today.

The number of coronavirus cases has reached 580 so far in Parsa district, with new 73 cases.

The newly infected are 61 males and 12 females aged 10 to 73, according to Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.

The new cases were confirmed during tests at the laboratory of Narayani Hospital.
