28 new COVID-19 cases in Jhapa



JHAPA: Jhapa district has seen 28 new cases of coronavirus on Friday making the pandemic cases in the district 278.

According to Jiban Chamlagai, the focal person of Public Health Office Jhapa, 14 people living in the Mechinagar Municipality’s Radhashyam quarantine are found suffering from coronavirus pandemic. With Friday’s 14 cases, Mechi Municipality has seen 41 cases of COVID-19.

Similarly, two females and six males of Arjundhara Municipality, three males of Haldibari Rural Municipality, one female and two males of Kankai Municipality, and one female of Birtamod Municipality are also found infected with coronavirus pandemic.

Focal person Chamlagai stated with Jhapa has recorded 278 coronavirus cases till Friday.
