‘Enough is Enough’ movement gets momentum; NC, RPP express solidarity



KATHMANDU: The self-generating movement that started as a protest to demand the wider range of PCR test and reached to satyagraha is getting further intensified with the support from main opposition party Nepali Congress and another political party Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Extending the hands of solidarity on the protests ‘Enough is Enough’, Central Committee Member of Nepali Congress and former Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi reached at the satyagraha site in Patan and encouraged the protesting youths.

Demanding the expansion of PCR tests and end of corruption, some youths came to an self-generated movement with a slogan ‘Enough is Enough’.

NC leader Joshi was accompanied by the Chairperson of Nepal Doctor’s Association Dr. Lochan Karki, and NC leader Pramod Sharma.

Similarly RPP Chairperson Kamal Thapa also reached Patan Durbar Square to meet the protesting youth.

Expressing solidarity with the protestors, he stood holding the placards saying ‘Enough is Enough’.

After the visit, Thapa urged the government to listen to the just demands of the protesting youths and take care of their lives.

“I urge the government to listen to the youths on Satyagraha protest raising the issues of public concern and take necessary steps to address their declining health,” RPP Chair Thapa has said in the tweet, “I request @ kpsharmaoli and the government to resolve the issue through dialogues at the earliest.”

He has expressed his solidarity in the ‘Enough is enough’ movement.

Likewise, leader of the Janata Samajbadi Party, Hishila Yami also expressed her solidarity in the movement.

Interestingly, former Crown Prince Paras Shah also visited hospital to see the young leaders in protest admitted in HAMS Hospital on Friday.
