India’s PM Modi interacts with army in Ladakh

LADAHK: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi reached Ladakh and interacted with personnel of the Indian Army and Air Force at a forward post at an altitude of 11,000 feet, Indian media reports have said.

PM Modi is also expected to address the 14 Corps officials and meet soldiers injured in the Galwan Valley clash.

He will also take stock of the security situation in Ladakh.

The Prime Minister’s Ladakh visit is considered significant as the government first rescheduled Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Leh.
