KATHMANDU: Coronavirus has taken a heavy toll on America, claiming over 1,000 people and infecting 26,109 in the last 24 hours.
The total death toll in America has reached 5, 099 after 1, 046 died in a single day. Similarly, with 26, 109 new infection cases, the total number of cases has reached 213, 372 as of Thursday morning.
According to latest figures collated by Worldometer, 8, 878 among those infected with the new virus have recovered after treatment.
Likewise, the condition of 5,500 among 200,662 who are currently undergoing treatment is critical.
