Lawmakers draw govt’s attention to Covid-19 prevention measures

KATHMANDU: Lawmakers at the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday drew the government’s attention towards the prevention of Nepali citizens from the possible risk of coronavirus infection.

Parliamentarians, including Atharkamal Musalman, Anjana Bisunkhe, Kalila Khatun, Ekwal Miya, Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, Tulasa Thapa, Ganga Chaudhary, Khagaraj Adhikari, Jip Chhiring Lama, Chhakka Bahadur Lama, Jeevan Ram Shrestha and Juli Kumari Mahato urged the government to take high alert to remain safe from the virus infection.

The virus ‘Covid-19’ has so far spread to 64 countries in the world following its emergence at Wuhan of Hubei province in China.

The virus has killed 3,000 people mostly in China and predominately in its epicenter in Wuhan of China so far.
