Saudi Arabian Ambassador pays courtesy call on Speaker Sapkota



KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal Musaid Sulaiman M. Almarwany has paid a courtesy call on newly-appointed Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.

During a meeting at the Speaker’s office, Singhadurbar Ambassador Almarwany wished Speaker Sapkota for a successful tenure.

Likewise, Sapkota said that Nepal has always remembered the Saudi Arabia’s support during the devastating earthquake in 2015. He also thanked Saudi Arabia for different assistants that they are providing in various sectors and hope for the same spirit in the coming days.

Moreover, he also thanked Saudi Arabia for providing jobs to 300,000 migrant workers and support to Hajj pilgrims.

Nepal and Saudi Arabia have the bilateral relations for 43 years.
