Ruling NCP’s CC meet concludes endorsing an 11-point proposal

KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) concluded on Sunday by endorsing an 11-point amendment proposal and organizational report on various issues.

The CC meeting unanimously endorsed the political report presented by chairman duo KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister’s press advisor Surya Thapa said.

Likewise, the meeting also endorsed the statute amendment proposal and the organizational report presented by the party’s General Secretary Bishnu Paudel.

NCP Chairmen Oli and Dahal furnished answers to queries raised by the central leaders during their deliberations at the four-day CC meeting in Kathmandu.

A total of 15 group leaders divided for deliberations has presented their conclusion at the meeting.

Meanwhile, most of the central committee members of the party have accused the party leadership of violating party statute and fueling groupism.

Putting forth their views in the plenum, the team leaders criticized both the government and party, saying there was a dearth of coordination between the two, leaders said.
