Government constitutes advertisement board



KATHMANDU: The government has constituted an advertisement board in a bid to formulate policy relating to advertisement in the media sector.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has formed the board with Mahendra Sherchan, Chairperson of Rajdhani News Publication Pvt Ltd as its coordinator.

Likewise, Balram Thapa, Shuva Shankar Kandel, Chandra Neupane and Bandana Danuwar are the members of the board.

The board will have four year’s term.

Minister Parbat Gurung today handed over appointment letters to the members at a program organized at the ministry.

Likewise, the board also has members representing the Home Ministry, Ministry of Industry and Supplies, and Ministry of Communications.
