Hubby dies in less than 24 hrs after wife’s death



ILAM:  A husband has died in less than 24 hours after the death of his wife in Ilam district.

Dabal Singh Magar who was associated with Mahendra Ranta Multiple Campus died on Tuesday night.

His wife died on Tuesday. Dabal Singh was undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar for COVID-19.

He was being treated on ventilator since he tested positive for COVID-19 on November 23.

On November 30, the hospital administration had informed Dabal Singh’s wife that her husband had irregular heartbeats and respiratory complications after being removed from the ventilator on November 28.

After receiving information about the health condition of her husband, the wife felt uneasy and died while being rushed to a nearby hospital, said the kin of the deceased.

The wife is said to have died from heart attack.
