NC office-bearers meeting discusses three agendas

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) office-bearers meeting has discussed the upcoming general convention, internal disputes within the party, and the government’s action to control the pandemic.

An informal meeting held on Monday failed to reach a concrete agreement on resolving internal disputes within the party. The meeting will resume on Tuesday.

Senior leader of the party Ram Chandra Poudel-led faction had filed a 16-point memorandum at the party’s central office denouncing the recent decisions and activities of President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

According to NC Joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat, the memorandum submitted by the Poudel-led group was also discussed during today’s meeting.
