Kathmandu Valley reports 388 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has reported as many as 388 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at the regular press briefing, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that 350 persons in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur and 9 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus.

Similarly, 1,120 new cases were added to the national coronavirus tally in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of cases has reached 41,649 in the country.

According to him, a total of 1,112 people were discharged across the country in the past 24 hours, making the total number of discharged people 23,290.

Meanwhile, 10,493 people are in the institutional isolation facilities while 7,615 individuals are in home isolation.
