Mother, son succumb to COVID-19 at Patan Hospital



KATHMANDU:  One more COVID-19-infected patient has died in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital on Tuesday night.

According to the hospital sources, a 40-year-old man from Bhaktapur succumbed to the virus.

The deceased’s mother had died of the coronavirus only four days ago.

Sixty-two-year-old mother had lost her life in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital.

The son was being treated on ventilator after he was diagnosed with the coronavirus 15 days ago.

His mother had contracted coronavirus after infection was seen in her son, according to the hospital.
