Sexagenarian woman dies of COVID-19 in Bhairahawa



BUTWAL: A 65-year-old woman has died from coronavirus at Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa.

Originally from Ramgram municipality-5, Nawalparasi, she had been admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital after being diagnosed with the virus on August 31.

According to Dr Narayan Pokharel, the information officer of the hospital, she succumbed to the coronavirus at 8:45 pm on Tuesday.

The sexagenarian was being treated at ICU. She was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, according to the hospital.
