Girl injured in Tanahun leopard attack



DAMAULI: A girl child was injured in an attack by a leopard at Samastipur in ward no. 1 of Anbukhaireni Rural Municipality.

The incident took place on Saturday night when 10-year-old Amisha Thapa was in the courtyard outside her home.
Amisha has suffered injuries to her neck and has been taken to Bharatpur for treatment, according to Chief of the Division Office, Kedar Baral.

The girl was with her grandfather Dhan Bahadur Pant. She is a grade 3 student at the local Chandradodaya Secondary School.

It may be noted that nine children have already died in the attack by a leopard for the past three years in Tanahun.
