PM Oli meets ‘Enough is Enough’ campaigners at HAMS Hospital



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli reached the HAMS Hospital on Thursday evening to meet ‘Enough is Enough’ campaigners undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The prime minister told them that the government is working in a transparent manner to control coronavirus, according to Surya Thapa, the prime minister’s Press Adviser.

The protesters were hospitalized after their health condition deteriorated during the fast-unto-death staged in Lalitpur.

In response to the lack of promptness, transparency and accountability shown by the government of Nepal in the management of COVID-19, a series of non-partisan protests have taken place across the country.

There have been independent protests in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar, Dhangadhi, Chitwan, Surkhet, Birgunj, Dhankuta, Bhaktapur, Butwal, Dang, Palpa, Hetauda, Lalitpur and other places.
