KATHMANDU: Leader of main opposition Nepali Congress, Gagan Thapa has denounced the prorogation of the parliament’s budget session labeling it a ‘catastrophe’ in the parliamentary system.

He claimed that while many bills were on the agenda and in the process in the parliament, the abrupt decision of prorogation of the parliament has been an unwise step.
Thapa also warned against bringing any ordinances by deceiving the parliament.
