KATHMANDU: A 23-year-old girl has committed suicide by coming on a Facebook live in Dang district.
Alisa Gautam took her own life by hanging herself with a shawl at Ranijaruwa in Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City-5 on Wednesday night, said DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh, chief of Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
It is yet to be investigated why she committed suicide. The body of the deceased has been kept at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur for postmortem.
Police said they are investigating the case.
