More than half of COVID-19 cases in Nepal are aged 20 to 40



KATHMANDU:  According to the latest updates unveiled by the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 14,046 people are infected with coronavirus in Nepal.

Thirty people have lost their lives from coronavirus wile 3,656 have recovered from the deadly virus as of Wednesday evening.

Out of the infected, 13 percent are women and 87 percent are men.

Children and the elderlies are at high-risk of the coronavirus but their number is surprisingly minimal in Nepal.

Coronavirus cases are seen mostly in youths who have returned home from abroad, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The cases are seen in 8,450 youths aged between 21 to 40 in Nepal.

There are 462 children infected with coronavirus below 10 years of age while 34 are above the age of 70.
