KATHMANDU: Youth leader and parliamentarian Gagan Thapa has countered Prime Minister KP Oli’s ‘threats’ saying none would be cowed down by his remarks.

Responding to the threatening language PM Oli’s recorded video message telecast on May 1 contained, youth leader of main opposition party Nepali Congress, Thapa stated that none would ‘give up’ the good intend briefing and noble deeds just because they are liked by the PM and his circle.

In his video message telecast on May 1, PM Oli had criticized the media saying they plotted against the government, and they were even pushing the country and the government in the ditch.

He had even warned that Nepal Communist Party cadres, the government and the public would not ‘excuse’ the sources responsible for political instability.

“Wow, Honorable PM, you use the pandemic for your personal benefit, you worsen the situation! You do unethical things, you never heed what you should have and you blame the ones who aware people about your bad deeds!” Thapa wrote on his Twitter account.

He has defied the warning saying none would be scared of the corrupt and autocrats.
