Five tourists airlifted from Sankhuwasabha



SANKHUWASABHA: Five tourists, stranded at Sabhapokhari rural municipality-2, Bahrabise of Sankhuwasabha, have been airlifted to Kathmandu.

Two Australians, two Canadians and a French tourist have been airlifted by Kailash Air on Wednesday.

The tourists had arrived Sankhuwasabha for Makalu Himal trekking, District Police Office chief Santosh Rai said.

Several tourists who have reached Sankhuwasabha for trekking have been stranded the government of Nepal imposed a lockdown.
