Elderly man injured in Mahottari firing



MAHOTTARI: A sexagenarian has been seriously injured after an unidentified man opened fire at him on Sunday morning.

According to SP Shyam Krishna Adhikari, 61-year-old Sahadev Prasad Yadav has received serious bullet injuries and is being treated at the Janakpur-based Janaki Healthcare.

Police said the search for the culprit was underway.

A team led by DSP Madhav Prasad Budhathoki recovered two bullet shells and one live bullet from the incident site in Manarasiswa Municipality-3, Saunogaun.
