28-year-old injured in khukuri attack; attacker held

SUNSARI: Sunsari Police has arrested 27-year-old Rajesh Nepali on the charge of attacking a man with a sharp weapon.

Acting on a tip-off that Bishwas Gurung was critically injured in a khukuri attack, a police team deployed from Area Police Office, Dharan arrested Nepali from his rented room based at Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-16 this morning.

Injured Gurung is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the assailant into custody.
