Police bust guest house; 3 held with fake gold

KAILALI: Police arrested three people on the charge of selling fake gold from National Guest House based at Buspark in Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City.

The arrested have been identified as Shankar Bohara, and two Indian nationals Muktiyar Singh alias Mikhkhu and Manjit Singh alias Mitu, said police.

Acting on a tip-off that the illegal transaction of gold was taking place, a squad of District Police Office, Kailali busted the guest house and arrested them.

Police seized three biscuits of fake gold weighing two kilograms and 400 grams from Room No. 7 of the guest house.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the trio into custody.
