Lalitpur Metropolis decides to open schools after consulting with Mayor’s Forum

LALITPUR: The Lalitpur Metropolitan City has stated that schools will be opened only at a suitable time after the decision of the Kathmandu Valley Mayor’s Forum.

The metropolis has said that it would be appropriate to open the school only after consultation and suggestions with the heads of Kathmandu Metropolis and municipalities as the rate of COVID infection is increasing in the Kathmandu Valley.

Lalitpur Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan said that it would be decided how and when to open the school after the meeting so that the students would not be affected by the virus.

He said, “Opening the school after discussing with the mayor of Kathmandu Valley will bring uniformity in all.”
