President Bhandari administers oath to three ambassadors

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed ambassadors of Nepal to Belgium, Pakistan and Germany on Sunday.

The newly-appointed ambassadors are Gehendra Rajbhandari for Belgium, Tapas Adhikari for Pakistan and Ramkaji Khadka for Germany. All the three ambassadors were the joint secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to their new responsibility.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at a special function at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and high-ranking government officials were also present at the event.
